Our Story

Built to protect,
built to last

Impax Contracting was built on a straightforward idea: homeowners and property managers in Northeast Georgia deserve a contractor who shows up, does the work right, and stands behind it. We serve residential and commercial clients across a wide stretch of the state, from Atlanta and Alpharetta to Athens, Augusta, and the communities in between. Every project we take on gets the same level of care, whether it's a single roof repair or a full home remodel.

One thing that sets us apart from larger firms is simple. When you call Impax Contracting, you talk to the owner. We are a small, locally owned and operated company, and that means the person walking your property and reviewing your project is the same person responsible for the final result. There is no hand-off to a project manager you've never met. You get direct communication from start to finish.

Impax Contracting did an excellent job replacing our roof and gutters! From first inspection to the final nail Mike and Blaze took care of everything. They worked with my insurance company and met with the adjusters to ensure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Impax Contracting.

We had a great experience with Impax and Blaze from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the roofing process. They communicated well, showed up when they said they would, and completed the job efficiently. Our new roof looks fantastic, and the quality of the workmanship really shows. It’s hard to find contractors you can trust, and this company exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company. Thank you for making the process so smooth!

Abby Norris Google review · July 2026

I had a great experience with Impax Roofing. My insurance company initially denied my roof claim, but Blaze knew exactly how to handle the process and was able to get my roof approved. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and made everything much less stressful. Impax Roofing also completed the job for less than the other quotes I received, without sacrificing quality. The roof looks great, the work was done professionally, and I’m very happy with the result. If you’re looking for a roofer who will fight for you with the insurance company while providing great pricing and quality work, I highly recommend Blaze and Impax Roofing.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Blaze Burgess at Impax Consulting over the past month, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Blaze is extremely professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and genuinely easy to work with. He consistently communicates clearly, shows up on time, and demonstrates a high level of expertise in every aspect of the job. On top of that, he’s friendly and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Blaze and Impax Consulting for any construction project—you’ll be in great hands!
